Your Role

You will work alongside people with disabilities or long-term health needs who are seeking paid employment and/or looking to leave school into the next phase of their lives. Your responsibilities include:

  • Working one-on-one with people to seek employment
  • Supporting young people with disabilities planning to leave school
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with service users, colleagues, potential employers, and local community organizations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A clean New Zealand driver's license
  • The ability to travel as required
  • Empathy and passion for supporting people with disabilities or health needs
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to motivate and work independently
  • Resilience to continue establishing desired outcomes when faced with challenges
