About Our Service
Our Gastroenterology Department is seeking a Specialist Gastroenterologist to join our team.
We provide high-quality outpatient gastroscopy and colonoscopy services, ERCP, liver elastography, and other specialized care to the 180,000 people in our district. We are affiliated with the University of Otago and have a research relationship with Massey University, providing excellent opportunities for teaching and research.
The position is based at a 350-bed hospital in the city of Palmerston North, which serves a local population of 180,000 and has responsibility for a regional head and neck oncology service covering a population of 550,000.
