Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Perform vehicle operator & labouring tasks including inspections, transferring roading materials, load & unload vehicles, lifting, carrying, digging, cleaning, etc.
  • Carry out vehicle load checks and logbook entries to uphold compliance with NZ Road Transport regulations
  • Work within a team to carry out tasks under the direction of the site supervisor

Requirements

  • NZ Class 4 Driver Licence, clean driving record with no recent traffic violations
  • Fit and able-bodied and can pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test
  • Motivated, reliable, and strong communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
