About The Role

This exciting opportunity allows you to work alongside our skilled anaesthetists, doctors, and nurses in a dynamic and varied environment. As an Anaesthetic Technician, your responsibilities will include assisting with surgeries, operating theatre set-up, and administering medications as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with surgeries and prepare operating theatres for procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care
  • Administer medications as required and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain registration and expertise

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Experience working in an operating theatre environment, preferably as an Anaesthetic Technician
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in anaesthetic technology

What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary package, including:

  • A salary range of $77,000 - $107,000 p.a., dependent on relevant experience
