About the Team

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team based at our Hamilton city site. As a key member of our Intake and Assessment team, you will work closely with colleagues and other stakeholders to assess the needs of tamariki and provide appropriate support and interventions.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to engage with whānau and establish working relationships with agencies, voluntary groups, and individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of tamariki and their families, and develop and implement plans to support them.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality services that promote the wellbeing and safety of tamariki.
  • Provide ongoing support and supervision to tamariki and their families, as needed.
