About the Role
Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitemata is seeking a Laboratory Operations Coordinator to coordinate laboratory operations and ensure effective delivery of Point of Care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate laboratory operations to ensure efficient delivery of Point of Care services.
- Provide resources and support to laboratory staff.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 15189:2022 standards.
About You
- Registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with a current annual practising certificate issued by the NZMSC.
- A minimum of five years hospital laboratory experience.
- Demonstrated understanding and involvement in maintaining quality standards, particularly ISO 15189:2022.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Previous responsibility for training.
- Understanding of the direction and benefits of Point of Care.
