Stats NZ is a Central Government employer with over 1200 people across Aotearoa. We provide data and statistics to support the decisions of Government, Māori and Iwi organisations, businesses, NGOs, and New Zealanders.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and overseeing the production of one or more statistical releases
  • Working closely with Unit Managers and Analysts to assign tasks and monitor progress
  • Coordinating release status reporting and keeping key stakeholders informed
  • Identifying dependencies between statistical projects and ensuring smooth integration
  • Standardising methodologies and processes across different releases
