Waikatodhbnewsroom is committed to providing exceptional patient care and advancing medical knowledge. We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Sonographer to join our Cardiology Service, working closely with Cardiologists and Senior Sonographers to deliver comprehensive patient care.
About the Role
As a Digital Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality cardiac ultrasound procedures, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans. You will also contribute to a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and expertise to advance medical knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Internationally recognised qualification in Cardiac Ultrasound
- Registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board (or eligibility for registration)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in stressful situations
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
