Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to residents while encouraging them to maintain their independence.
  • Promptly complete delegated tasks in a timely manner.
  • Respond quickly to resident requests and provide them with relevant information.
  • Maintain and update resident healthcare records.
  • Assist with handover of residents at shift changes.
Skills and Qualifications:
We require applicants to possess a New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 (or equivalent), or a combination of Level 3 (or equivalent) and 3 years of relevant experience. Good people skills and empathy for residents and their families are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also necessary for this role.
