We are looking for experienced coding professionals to join our team as mentors for high school students. As a mentor, you will be responsible for guiding students through coding projects, fostering their creativity, and helping them develop practical skills in one or more of the following fields: Web Development, App Development, Game Development, or Data Analytics.

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct 1:1 and group mentoring sessions with high school students, providing hands-on guidance in your area(s) of expertise. This includes helping students apply what they learn by guiding them through project creation, tailoring your teaching to meet the needs and skill levels of each student, ensuring students understand key concepts and develop skills that they can showcase in college applications or portfolios, and monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have in-depth knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Web Development, App Development, Game Development, or Data Analytics.
  • Prior experience teaching or mentoring students, especially at the high school level, is preferred.
  • Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to students with varying levels of coding experience.
  • Familiarity with guiding students through project-based learning.
  • A genuine interest in helping students develop coding skills.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with popular web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript, React, Vue, etc.).
  • Experience with mobile app frameworks.
  • Experience with game development engines.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages (Python, R, Pandas, etc.).
