Paediatric House Officer Opportunity
We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated Paediatric House Officers to join our team at Palmerston North Hospital. As a Paediatric House Officer, you will work closely with our experienced medical staff to provide high-quality care to children and infants from birth to 16 years old.
About the Role
- Provide clinical care to children and infants in the paediatric ward, neonatal unit and outpatient clinics.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours care as required.
- Develop your skills and knowledge through education and training programs.
Requirements
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligibility for general or provisional general registration.
- Completed PGY1 or equivalent and in the second six months of your PGY2 year.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
