About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated mental health professionals, such as psychologists, registered nurses, and social workers, to join our multi-disciplinary team at Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (iCAMHS) in Rotorua. Our ideal candidate will have strong mental health assessment and therapeutic intervention skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mental health assessments and interventions for children, adolescents, and their families
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Development of treatment plans and goals in collaboration with clients and their whānau

About Us

iCAMHS provides multi-disciplinary mental health services to those in our community who are experiencing the highest needs. Our service is based in Te Aka Mauri, the Children's Health Hub, housed in the Rotorua Public Library. We welcome applications from experienced clinicians who can demonstrate a commitment to working with tamariki, rangitahi, and their whānau.

Requirements

  • Registration or eligibility for registration with a New Zealand professional body
  • Certification in mental health assessment and intervention techniques
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including Māori and Pacific communities
