Family Services Liaison

Our Community Services Coordinators are the backbone of our organization, working tirelessly to ensure that our community-based initiatives run smoothly. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for building connections with local community groups, developing initiatives that promote healthy confident whanau and pepi, and providing support to our volunteers. If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, this role may be the perfect fit for you.
About the PositionWe're seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Community Services Coordinator. This is a part-time role (15 hours per week) on a permanent basis, with flexible working arrangements that allow you to work from home from time to time. You'll have the opportunity to work across the region, attending events and meetings with volunteers and community groups.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement community-based initiatives
- Build relationships with local community groups and organizations
- Provide support to volunteers and ensure they're equipped to carry out their roles effectively
- Prior experience in community development and volunteer management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A full NZ Drivers Licence
