Medical Laboratory Scientist - Transplantation and Immunogenetics Laboratory

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our Transplantation and Immunogenetics Laboratory in Auckland. This laboratory plays a critical role in the delivery of high-quality patient services in the field of transplantation testing.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in advanced molecular and cellular techniques, including HLA typing, crossmatching, and antibody screening. You will also work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to improving transplantation outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in advancing their knowledge and skills in transplantation medicine.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent qualification, be registered as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with the Medical Sciences Council of NZ, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

They will also be proficient in using windows applications and various software platforms, with a background in Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics being an advantage.
