Job Description
Avis Budget Group International is seeking a seasoned General Manager to oversee its New Zealand operations.
This role requires an experienced leader who can drive business growth, enhance revenue performance, and develop strategic initiatives within the local market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive business plans, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring strong employee engagement and compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth and profitability through strategic planning and execution.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and implement effective succession planning and talent development programs.
- Optimize fleet management to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in operations or fleet management.
- Demonstrated strategic planning and operational efficiency improvement skills.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong leadership behaviours, proactive, self-motivated, resilient, and energetic.
The ideal candidate will be based in Auckland but open to strong candidates based in other locations in NZ.
