We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Flight Dynamics Engineer to join our team at Rocket Lab. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced technologies for mission analysis and flight dynamics. Responsibilities

This position involves:

  • Leading the development of mission analysis and flight dynamics software
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Space Systems, or Software Engineering, or an equivalent Engineering or Applied Physics degree
  • Advanced knowledge of orbital mechanics and orbit determination theory
  • Proven experience with mission analysis tools and software development
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
