About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Research Developer to join our team at Recruit Express. This role will involve driving the development of new and improved key technology building blocks within a broader and more complex requirement framework while systematically expanding knowledge within your sub-technology field.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement plans to advance knowledge within specific sub-technology field.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of new technologies.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Provide input to the relevant Technology Roadmap(s) while making investment recommendations for technology development.
- Build and maintain internal and external networks, focusing on technological aspects including scouting and screening of new raw materials.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Science or Engineering discipline or Master degree in Science or Engineering discipline with at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience in manufacturing processes of polymeric films and functional layers.
- Knowledge in DoD NanoTech or DoD Physics or DoD Extrusion or DoD Testing is highly preferred.
- Ability to work with solvents and flammable and toxic materials.
- Experience in chemical labs, preferably in clean room environment.
- Preferably work experience with adhesives or pressure sensitive adhesives.
