As a HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the success of our organization by providing expert advice on human resource management and partnering with managers to drive business outcomes.

About the Role

In this dynamic and engaging field, no two days are the same. You will serve as a trusted advisor and support system for employees at all levels, working collaboratively to meet the goals of the service in a team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding and awareness of the district's business, your business units, their operating environment, roles/responsibilities, and HR requirements in a continuously changing environment.
  • Support change management processes, including drafting letters and communicating documents to the unions and the whole organisation.
  • Provide expert advice in relation to complaints, investigations, disciplinary action, restorative processes, and mediation.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity, experienced with mediation and other resolution processes.

Our team of experienced HR Business Partners work as a team or individually within the health sector, which is incredibly rewarding as it allows you to support and empower healthcare professionals, ensuring a motivated and resilient workforce that directly impacts patient care and community well-being.

Requirements

  • A tertiary qualification, preferably in Human Resources, Industrial/Organisational Psychology or Business Studies, and/or equivalent practical experience OR significant experience in HR practice.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively; verbal and written.
  • Proven customer relationship skills.
  • 10 years plus HR Generalist experience.
  • 2 years in a Senior HR position.
