About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Technical Leader to join our team as Deputy Head of Analysis and Testing. The successful candidate will have responsibility for high standard individual and project client delivery, supporting others to deliver and improving how we deliver to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery Leadership: You will lead and day-to-day run a team of Lead Analyst Testers, Senior Analyst Testers, Analyst Testers, Principal Analyst Testers, ensuring that individuals have the skills and capabilities to succeed within a delivery-focused environment.
  • Process Improvement: You will work together with the Lead Analyst Testers, Principal Analyst Testers, and Head of Analysis and Testing to identify and implement Delivery process improvements aimed at improving quality and productivity.
  • Quality Control: You will directly input or support the Head of Analysis and Testing to input into SDLC processes including but not limited to engagement with developers, architecture, testing, and documentation standards.
  • Training and Coaching: You will assist with hiring processes, decision making, and new team members training and onboarding.
Requirements
  • Business Analysis and Testing Knowledge: Knowledge of SDLC, Agile and delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent Team Communication Skills: Confidence in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Proactive, results-oriented, supportive leader, able to take initiative in a delivery-focused environment.
  • Financial Markets and Products Knowledge: ISTQB Foundation or Business Analysis Foundation Certificate (or equivalent).
  • SQL Knowledge: Experience in JIRA/X-Ray, Analysis and Project Management tools would be a plus.
