To support our ever-changing organisation, we are looking for a highly experienced Senior Modern Workplace Engineer (Technology Specialist Level 3) to join the Workplace Technology Engineering team.

Job Description

Serving the public as efficiently as possible without interruption.

Maintaining and developing technical solutions and documentation.

Implementing change requests and collaborating with Technology Services teams.

Planning and consulting on new initiatives and guiding the team through implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing change requests
  • Collaborating with Technology Services teams
  • Planning and consulting on new initiatives

Tech Expertise:

  • Five plus years of practical experience
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Services, including Azure Identity Services, Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Exchange Online, and security solutions
  • Proficient in scripting and automation using toolsets like PowerShell
  • Understanding of Generative AI, machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision concepts
  • Experience with AI tools and platforms such as Microsoft AI Foundry and Microsoft CoPilot studio

Methodologies and Practices:

  • Demonstrated experience in agile methodologies and practices, ensuring efficient and iterative project delivery
  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Strong understanding of ITIL practices and their application
