About the Role

This position is ideal for a self-motivated, mechanical tradesperson with experience in maintenance and repair of industrial plant machinery within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Taking ownership of area responsibilities, performing preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on plant equipment and machinery.">
  • Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues to maintain plant reliability and minimise downtime.">
  • Planning and executing corrective maintenance to optimise equipment performance.">
  • Collaborating with production teams to improve equipment reliability and drive optimisation.">
  • Maintaining accurate records including bills of materials, PMs, manuals, drawings, and SAP records.">

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with:

">
  • ">
  • A Mechanical trade qualification (NCME level 4 or 5).">
  • Demonstrated experience in fitting and welding.">
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with fault finding and problem-solving skills.">
  • Computer literacy.">
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.">
  • A strong Health & Safety focus.">
  • Excellent teamworking skills.">
  • Machining experience (desired).">
  • SAP experience (desired).">
