Strategic Investment Leader for a New Zealand Settlement

About the Organisation
This is an IT Support Group that has recently partnered with a Settlement Trust to create a reliable revenue stream through a low-risk investment strategy. The settlement was established after years of negotiation, and it marks a significant milestone for the people involved.
About the Role
We are seeking a General Manager (Investment Focus) to lead our investment strategy and revenue growth. The successful candidate will have oversight from the Board and support from the staff team, and will be responsible for developing and implementing our investment portfolio. The role comes with delegations from the Investment Trust to lead the investment portfolio development and grow broader general manager skills under the mentoring of the Trustees.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing the investment base of a trust with sound judgment and commercial astuteness. They will also have the ability to analyze and undertake due diligence on new opportunities and the performance of existing ones.
About You
You will be a person who gives us confidence in your ability to work collaboratively with our Group Chief Executive and the Settlement Trust's stakeholders. You will also have the understanding of the need for sustainable approaches to the development of the iwi and the ability to relate to whānau.
Estimated Salary: NZD 120,000 - 150,000 per annum, depending on experience
Location: Masterton or surrounding areas, flexible location possible
