We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Anaesthetist to join our team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Matau A Māui Hawke's Bay. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collegial environment with a range of surgical and medical specialties, serving a diverse patient population.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will possess either FANZCA or an equivalent qualification that would lead to specialist registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ). They will have an ongoing commitment to providing top-quality service to our community. We welcome applications from individuals who have competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori, or a willingness to start their journey and take ownership of their learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Providing anaesthetic services to patients across various specialties
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintaining up-to-date skills and knowledge in anaesthesia
- FANZCA or equivalent qualification for specialist registration with MCNZ
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000 - $350,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes access to professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive team environment.
