We are seeking a highly motivated Bird Control Sales Consultant to join our South Island team. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders to develop and strengthen strategic business relationships.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and developing new and existing business opportunities predominantly in the South Island. You will also be expected to:
- Provide customers with relevant information on new products, services, compliance, and market/industry developments
- Implement market-driven and customer-specific sales strategies
- Develop, strengthen, and reinforce strategic business relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders
- Survey, specify, and quote directly to new customers
- Maintain and improve knowledge of the company product range, competitor products, and general market information to add value to customer interactions
Your Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Proven sales experience with a true hunter mentality
- Skilled at generating and evolving your own prospects and leads through a combination of cold calling, networking, and market research
- Experience in the construction or similar industry
- A results-focused attitude, with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing new business relationships
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good time management skills with the proven ability to work autonomously
- Strong business acumen, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn new systems
