The Cardiothoracic Service

Our Cardiothoracic Service is one of the largest and most comprehensive in New Zealand, providing nationwide tertiary-level intensive care services. We care for complex patients with heart and lung conditions, including those requiring ECMO therapy.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide expert advice on medication management
  • You will develop and implement policies, protocols, and guidelines related to medication management
  • You will supervise and mentor junior pharmacists and other staff members
  • You will contribute to the development of our service through education, training, and research
