About the Role
Come be part of the City Rail Link (CRL) project delivering major transformation to Auckland's public transport infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced Systems Assurance Engineer on a fixed term contract.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring CRL systems meet safety and performance standards. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Advise and Support: Assist the CRL Delivery Team in demonstrating compliance with relevant systems assurance processes, engineering standards, operational standards, and technical/user requirements.
  2. Safety Assurance Documentation: Develop, document, and provide evidence for Safety Assurance arguments during all phases of projects.
  3. Compliance Reviews: Conduct Systems Assurance reviews to ensure compliance with Safety Assurance arguments and Goal Structuring Notation (GSN) implementation.
  4. Coordination: Work with GM HsQE to create a Day One SCV, ensuring coordination between CRL and wider network changes to AOR operations.

About You
We are looking for a candidate with a Relevant qualification in systems engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in systems assurance and safety management in a similar role, preferably within the rail or transportation sector is required. Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and safety compliance processes is essential.
