The Role

We are seeking a skilled Water Meter Service Specialist to provide planned and reactive water meter reading services throughout the district. The successful candidate will also undertake the installation and repairs of water meters as well as the installation of water back flow prevention devices.

This role requires:

  • Provide quality customer service
  • Provide leadership and mentorship within the water meter team
  • Demonstrate accountability and commitment to the development of the team
  • E nsure workplace health and safety

About You

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience with reading, maintaining and installation of water meters. Ideally 5 years practical experience in pipeline construction and maintenance is required. Relevant qualifications include NZ Certificate in Infrastructure Works (Pipeline construction and Maintenance) or NZ Certificate in Pipeline Construction & Maintenance. Additionally, a full NZ driver's license and Class 2 License are necessary.
