About the Role

The Waikato District Health Board is seeking a skilled Medical Roster Coordinator to join its team at Waikato Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced office manager or project coordinator to utilize their skills in a complex healthcare environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer medical workforce rosters efficiently, ensuring accurate data quality and timely recruitment of staff into services.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support, including coordinating medical recruitment, credentialing for all medical staff in the directorate, managing expense reports, and other tasks.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager and their team to ensure seamless administrative support, enabling them to focus on leadership and delivery of high-quality health outcomes.

Waikato Hospital is a teaching hospital and the major tertiary referral center providing specialized and emergency healthcare for the Waikato and surrounding areas. About You

  • You'll be an experienced office manager or project coordinator with a strong customer service drive and attention to detail.
  • You'll have a proactive approach, willingness to take on new tasks or challenges, and effective time management skills.
  • An understanding of a healthcare environment and experience in writing and managing rosters are highly desirable.
