About the Role

The Adult Community Mental Health Service provides comprehensive treatment for individuals aged 18-65 years who suffer from a wide range of mental disorders. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality assessment and support to clients and their families/whanau.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide expert psychological interventions for outpatients, including individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Work closely with referrers and colleagues from other agencies to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and their families/whanau to promote positive outcomes.
Requirements
  • NZ Registration as a Psychologist with a clinical scope of practice is essential.
  • Prior experience in the Adult Mental Health field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a busy caseload.
  • A full NZ drivers license is required due to potential travel requirements.
