We are seeking a highly skilled Security Professional to join our team at Smiths Mitre 10 MEGA Papanui. This is a permanent full-time role working Tuesday to Saturday, approximately 42.5 hours per week.

Job Description
As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our store. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Reducing shrinkage by promoting profit protection/loss prevention throughout all areas of our store
  • Creating and maintaining a secure work environment for all people within and around our store
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service while monitoring the shop floor for suspicious or potentially fraudulent activities

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good time management skills
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and handle tense situations effectively
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
