About the Position

This permanent full-time position offers a challenging and rewarding environment to practice Paediatric Surgery. As a Paediatric Surgeon at Starship Child Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of childhood illnesses and injuries, including complex and acute cases.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Conducting surgeries and procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  3. Maintaining accurate records and documenting patient information.

Skills and Qualifications

  • You must be a registered Medical Practitioner with FRACS Paediatric Surgery or equivalent.
  • You should have vocationally registered or eligibility for registration in the specialty of Paediatric General Surgery with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
  • You must have completed a Paediatric Surgery training programme recognised by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
