About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Raw Materials Chemist III to join our team at FUJIFILM Biotechnologies Diosynth Texas (FDBT). In this role, you will play a key part in the Technology Transfer of established methods into our Quality Control Laboratory.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • You will function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for raw material release and chemical analysis of materials.
  • You will collaborate and/or approve item specifications.
  • You will assist with scheduling and coordination of raw materials sample, testing and release.
  • You will assist with outsource lab testing audits; follow up for data and results reconciliation.
  • You will assist with training and technical mentoring for technicians with less experience.
  • You will prepare monthly metrics for raw material release.
  • You will maintain adequate inventory of supplies needed for all raw material sampling including but not limited to pipets, containers, and consumables.
  • You will perform area cleaning and waste removal, as needed.
  • You will author, review and update SOPs as needed; understand and follow complex written procedures.
  • You must follow good documentation practices in all aspects and phases of the work; provide reports for review in a timely manner; work with other lab personnel on projects and participate in Deviations and recommend possible corrective actions.
  • You will maintain the safety and orderliness of the Retain Cage.
  • You will report excursion/out of specifications results to the QC Departmental Supervisor/Manager.
  • You will provide OOS investigational support as needed.
