Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Acute Adult Mental Health Services in the Acute Community Service. As a leader in your field, you will be responsible for delivering quality care, supporting a dynamic team, and promoting a strong team culture.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead one of our medical teams, acting as a role model for high standards of care.
  • Support an environment where excellence can flourish, promoting honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Work collaboratively with the leadership team to implement service goals and drive strategic development.

Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Vocational registration with the Medical Council of NZ in the scope of Psychiatry.
  • A current APC (Annual Practicing Certificate).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to promote teamwork and navigate complex situations.
