Non-Destructive Excavator

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Non-Destructive Excavator to join our team. As a key member of our operations crew, you will be responsible for safely operating a hydrovac truck to expose underground utilities without causing damage.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of safety protocols, environmental regulations, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a hydrovac truck on construction sites across New Zealand.
• Conduct daily prestart checks to ensure equipment is in optimal working order.
• Perform non-destructive excavation efficiently while following safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist with manual labor tasks, including lifting, carrying, shoveling, and spotting for machinery.
• Support other trades on-site to ensure project efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and report any faults with plant and equipment.
• Engage in site cleaning and general housekeeping to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collect and deliver materials as needed.

Requirements:

• A current Full Class 4 License.
