Job Description

We are seeking a Child Development Specialist to join our team at Qjumpers Marne Street. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to creating a nurturing environment that fosters children's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging educational programs that meet the needs of 3-5-year-olds
  • Develop strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider community
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Stay up-to-date with current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki, and best practices in early childhood education

Requirements:

  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
  • Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning, and extending on children's learning
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki, and hold compliance in a high regard
  • A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
  • Possession of relevant qualifications and experience
