This position will be part of our dynamic Te Pai Tawhiti Transformation Office, where you'll develop and execute comprehensive communication plans that align with our strategic goals and cultural principles. Your targeted messaging will reach our diverse kaimahi, ensuring everyone is informed, engaged, and onboard with our vision.
Key responsibilities include gathering kaimahi insights, facilitating dialogue, and creating engaging content for various platforms. You'll act as a change ambassador promoting a culture of openness, collaboration, and trust through storytelling and advocacy.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in developing and executing communication strategies
- Effective engagement of employees throughout significant periods of change
- Sound understanding of kaupapa Maori principles and cultural sensitivity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience in content creation for various platforms
- Strong organisation and project management skills
