About the Role
This position will be part of the Commercial Department, responsible for vessel chartering activities, specifically customer development and recommending commercial strategies for pool vessels. Key responsibilities include:

  • Recommending and executing commercial strategies for pool vessels, including charter market outlooks, future trades, and vessel engagements.
  • Employing relevant vessels in the spot market to maximize Time Charter Equivalent (TCE), securing the highest possible income while optimizing laden/ballast ratios and minimizing idle time.
  • Keeping the pool management advised of developments within the Manager Chartering's area of responsibility and recommending corrective actions to improve established budget and targets.
