About the Role

As a Territory Sales Manager based out of our Auckland office, you will be responsible for selling materials handling equipment (forklifts) into the logistics, transport, warehousing, and manufacturing industries.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will have key responsibilities to sell new equipment within your designated region. This includes planning, strategizing, and prioritizing sales activities and customer prospects. Relationship skills are critical in maintaining existing and cultivating new relationships with customers. Cold calling and opening doors is essential and is tied to uncapped earnings.

We are a national distributor of Mitsubishi forklift equipment and offer sales, rentals, and service and maintain a wide range of equipment including petrol/LPG, diesel, and electric-powered machines.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years+ territory sales experience, preferably in materials handling equipment or any capital equipment.
  • Proven ability to plan and prioritize sales activities to close the deal.
  • Proven ability to build, develop, and maintain trusting relationships with customers.
  • A good understanding of technology and systems savvy.
  • An ability to think practically to work independently and create your own sales destiny.
