As a senior leader within our Supply Chain team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the operational excellence and strategic planning of our freight and logistics operations. This involves managing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as DOT, CPC, Utilisation, Microlise Compliance, POD Compliance, and ULD Recovery.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in transport, logistics, or supply chain management, with strong leadership capabilities and a strategic mindset. They must be adept at operational planning, stakeholder management, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety and operational leadership of despatch teams, Depot sites, and managed carriers
  • Manage LNI SC key J2Z metrics - DOT, CPC, Utilisation, Microlise Compliance, POD Compliance, and ULD Recovery
  • Regular review of the LNI SC Network, including linehaul/PF/secondary/DC vs. Depot components
  • Modelling future logistics requirements with SOS changes, together with reviewing and aligning commodity utilisation
  • Regular review of master schedule/delivery windows to ensure DOT can be met, safely and efficiently
  • Analyse and recommend network changes, driving continuous improvement and looking at what else is possible
  • Lead a wider team of 80 dedicated professionals and five direct reports, building a high level of engagement
