Job Description
We invite applications for a Radiation Oncologist to join our team at Dunedin Hospital. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment with professional development opportunities and a close relationship with the University of Otago.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide comprehensive cancer care services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
- To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- To engage in teaching and mentorship activities, contributing to the growth and development of junior staff members.
Requirements
We are ideally looking for a radiation oncologist with experience caring for patients with head and neck cancers and also gynaecological cancers, plus a willingness to provide clinical care across other tumour streams.
- A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists or equivalent.
- Eligibility for vocational or Locum Tenens registration in Radiation Oncology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
