**Job Description**

Duty managers at Kmart live and breathe the company values, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store by managing the team during trading hours in absence of the Store Manager.

As a leader in the retail market, we strive to continuously raise the bar. This is a part-time role working Wednesday to Saturday.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Enjoy leading others and improving our safety culture and results for the store.
  • Like variety in your work and think on your feet.
  • Follow policy and clear processes, ensuring good communication and information sharing with team members.
  • Adapt to change and demonstrate resilience.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

A solid background in retail, ideally with demonstrated experience working in a supervisory/team leader role.

A passion for delivering results that will motivate your team.

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

Values that reflect a high level of commitment to 'safety', always thinking 'customer' and a belief in constantly motivating your team to 'reach higher' every day.

The ability to foster strong relationships with team members, peers, customers, and leaders.
