Job Description

The New Zealand Embassy in Washington DC is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Residence Manager to join our team. As the key point of contact for all matters related to the Ambassador's Official Residence, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the residence and the success of official events.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Management of the residence, including daily operations, maintenance, and repairs
  2. Coordinating official events, receptions, and functions, including catering, decorations, and logistics
  3. Providing exceptional customer service to high-profile guests and dignitaries
  4. Working closely with embassy staff to ensure seamless event execution
Requirements and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a hospitality or similar field
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks
  • A strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
