About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to provide strategic direction and oversight of our technical infrastructure. You will be responsible for reviewing and assisting in the design and commissioning of all building services projects across Southern Cross Hospitals.

  • You will monitor global trends in building services and make recommendations on new technology to be incorporated into hospitals.
  • You will monitor developments in regulatory compliance standards and ensure ongoing compliance of building services and equipment is achieved.
  • You will assist in annual budget setting across all aspects of the hospital portfolio.
  • You will provide strategic advice and coordination of design for major capex projects.
  • You will work with procurement to negotiate national contracts for building services to ensure the cost-effectiveness of services provided to hospitals.
