The successful candidate will have strong relational skills, adaptability, and the ability to balance multiple perspectives. You will work closely with custodial staff to contribute to positive change and make a real impact in a fulfilling role.

Job Description
In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological services across the entire Waikeria site. This includes working in pre-existing units, new build units, and the purpose-built mental health facility, Te Wai o Pure. Your expertise will also be utilized in our broader mental health services, gaining diverse experience while contributing to excellence in clinical practice.
You will have opportunities for ongoing professional development, clinical and cultural supervision, and flexible working conditions, with part-time and full-time options available.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide secondary mental health psychological services, including triage, assessment, and treatment
- Work collaboratively with custodial staff to support individuals in need
- Develop and implement evidence-based and culturally responsive treatment plans
- Contribute to the development of our mental health services and programs
- Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical supervision
