About the Role

This exciting leadership opportunity exists within our Corporate Services & Assets category, where you will play a key role in shaping and driving the procurement strategy.

As a Category Manager, you will develop and implement a category strategy that delivers value, enhances performance, and aligns with our strategic ESG outcomes.

You will lead end-to-end procurement activities, working closely with the Buying Team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.

Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring contracts are effectively managed, supplier performance is optimized, and the category remains compliant with all relevant policies and regulations.

This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of our 'Better Buying at Beca 2025' transformation, which aims to evolve our procurement systems, structures, and governance to drive positive impact and strong commercial outcomes.

Reporting to the Group Procurement Manager, you will identify and address enterprise-level risks and opportunities, contributing to the overall success of our procurement function.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a category strategy that delivers value, enhances performance, and aligns with ESG outcomes
  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities, working closely with the Buying Team and other stakeholders
  • Ensure effective contract management, optimized supplier performance, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations
  • Identify and address enterprise-level risks and opportunities
