We are currently seeking a skilled Laundry Worker to join our team at St Andrews Care Home in Hamilton. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all care is taken with the residents' personal clothing and returned to owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating all laundry equipment as specified
  • Maintaining clean/dirty delineation areas within the laundry
  • Monitoring of linen supplies and advising line manager of replacement needs
  • Ensuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a commercial laundry is preferred, however not essential as we will provide training
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm, strong empathy, and a passion for making a difference to our residents' lives
  • You will be a team player, with the ability to work independently, and who is prepared to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into whatever needs to get done
  • Have reliable transport or travel arrangements
