Job Description
">We are seeking a Catering and Laundry Instructor to join our team at Otago Corrections Facility. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong passion for the catering industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and develop people within a team environment.
">Your primary responsibilities will include teaching and supporting our learners as they develop essential work skills in a commercial kitchen setting, enabling them to achieve NZQA qualifications and gain a platform of good working habits for future employment.
">We require a candidate who holds a London City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent qualification, possesses sound health and safety practices, and has a full NZ driver licence (or is eligible to obtain one).
">Additional desirable skills and qualifications include experience as an adult educator or NZAQ assessor (4098), and the ability to work within a diverse and inclusive environment.
">We offer a competitive salary range of $70,014 - $78,376 per annum, plus opportunities to increase your salary over time up to $87,691.
