About the Role
The NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Systems Specialist to join our team in the Safety Camera System. The successful applicant will have experience in leading and establishing quality management systems in complex environments and working collaboratively with operational and senior leaders across a large, complex organisation to deliver strategic outcomes. This includes managing the development and distribution of operational agreements and performance measures to the Business groups responsible for operational safety camera activities, overseeing issues, faults, and risks related to the safety camera systems operating environment, and providing high-level oversight of NZTA vendor agreements related to the safety camera system.

This is a unique opportunity to build on your skills and experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As part of our team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and ensuring that NZTA collectively delivers to the safety camera system's strategic, regulatory and system assurance outcomes.

About You
We are looking for a skilled specialist who has experience in leading and establishing quality management systems in complex environments and working collaboratively with operational and senior leaders across a large, complex organisation to deliver strategic outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will bring: Proven experience influencing and working collaboratively with operational and senior leaders across a large, complex organisation to deliver strategic outcomes, Experience in operationalising strategic activities through management of operational agreements and performance frameworks, Experience in the resolution of operational issues, including impact assessment, risk mitigation, and operational performance, and A high level of analytical, critical, and strategic thinking applying a system view to resolve complex issues.
