Job Description

Tangram is seeking experienced Industrial HVAC Technicians to join our team throughout the Bay of Plenty region. As an Airconditioning & Refrigeration Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining heating and cooling systems
  • Assembling and preparing tools & equipment needed for installation
  • Operating a variety of hand & power tools needed for HVAC installation
  • Diagnosing faults for the HVAC System
  • Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing HVAC system.
  • Read, understand, and interpret drawings and specifications to establish job requirements
  • Testing HVAC systems and adjusting if necessary
  • Filling system and checking for leaks
  • Following health & safety measures at work

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2.5 years of relevant experience
  • Be physically fit
  • Be technically capable
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety best practices

Work Conditions:

  • Full-time role with a minimum of 30 hours of work guaranteed
  • Pay rate: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
  • Location: Multiple locations throughout New Zealand, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago & Southland
