Role Overview

The Practice Manager - Delivery Assurance role is a senior position in Datacom's Programme Delivery practice, focusing on driving growth, innovation, and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the capability plan to create a culture of success, including team growth, performance, and development.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Delivery Assurance team, Project Services Practice, and Professional Services Line of Business representatives involved in project delivery.
  • Manage phases of programme and project delivery, establishing effective project operations to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Leverage previous delivery learnings to ensure that future RFPs and pre-sales activities represent Datacom's knowledge and experience.
  • Consult with the wider business to define and execute a growth strategy for the Modern Professional Services business across Australian markets.
  • Develop and manage vendor contracts/agreements associated with projects under management, establish and manage programme/project budget(s), analyse budget variances, and recommend appropriate action.
  • Lead strategic planning around opportunity and product roadmaps to ensure efficient and impactful collaboration with partners.

  • Demonstrable experience driving growth, managing commercial operations, and leading innovation.
  • Excellent people skills, commercial acumen, and a solid understanding of software professional services delivery.
  • A willingness to work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and understanding client customers.
  • An advanced understanding of different delivery methodologies is advantageous.
